Actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl launches an innovative and unconventional campaign focused on promoting the spaying and neutering of pets, to help save the lives of millions of companion animals.

The multi-media initiative will kick off with the launch of a new website, IHateBalls.com , that features an original PSA with Heigl, some four-legged friends - and her husband, Josh Kelley. Watch!



Heigl talked with "Extra" special correspondent Steve Santagati about the project. "If we can get people kind of laughing about what we're trying to do to them to take notice, I think we can make some money."
