Preview! J.R. Martinez's GF: His Scars Don't Bother Me
"Dancing with the Stars" finalist and soap star J.R. Martinez and his girlfriend Diana Jones open up on "Nightline" to discuss their relationship.
Jones, an executive assistant staff member at "All My Children," said she wasn't bothered by J.R,'s scars when they first met on the set of the soap opera. "The minute I met him, I didn't see them [the scars]," Jones said.
The two became fast friends and began spending time together before dating. Martinez recalled, "I think I had concern when it came to any girl that I would be dating after my injury. The first time that you kiss a girl with your scars or your burns -- is she going to be disgusted by the first time you expose your burns on your body? Are they not going to come back the following day... are they not gonna call you again?"
Diana said, "I see a hot sexy guy, I mean I'm very attracted, he's very attractive and I love him. That's who I see, I see a great guy and I see the man that I love."
