'DWTS' Results: Who Was Eliminated?

November 08, 2011 Dancing With The Stars

"Dancing with the Stars" said so long to Nancy Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus during week eight.

The dancing duo set aside all the bickering they did during rehearsals to do a saucy Tango to "The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane," but fell short with their second dance, a jive to "Upside Down."

"I am so proud," Grace said after receiving the bad news. "But I really cannot take the credit. It's been all Tristan from the get-go."

MacManus showed genuine shock at the compliment from his often times difficult partner, but quickly recovered. "We've had a blast," the pro dancer said. "We'd just like to thank everybody. Thanks for being so welcoming to me, and also to Nancy. We really had a fun time and it's the support we get from you all that really pushes us to do it. Nancy and I have said from the beginning - it's not about being the best, it's about doing our best, and I think that's what we did."

The four semifinalists -- J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff, Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Ricki Lake and Derek Hough - will go on to compete next week on "Dancing with the Stars."
