They Live! AMC Renews 'The Walking Dead'

Cable network AMC will bring back the zombie drama "The Walking Dead" for a third season.

The series, starring Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal and Sarah Wayne Callies, has yielded record-breaking ratings during its second season. The show's 90-minute premiere, which aired October 16, drew 7.3 million total viewers, the highest-rated basic cable drama premiere of all time!

The 13-episode Season 2 will take a break over the holidays, with the remaining six episodes returning in February.
