'Big Bang' Star Kaley Cuoco Gets Big Ring

"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco is set to tie the knot with Josh "Lazie" Resnik, according to People.

Cuoco's rep said, "The surprise proposal took place during a quiet date night at home. The couple is very happy and excited to begin planning their wedding."

The actress, 25, and Resnik, an addiction specialist, have not yet set a date.

Earlier this year on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, Kaley joked about being engaged, addressing the bling on her ring finger, which was not an engagement ring. She said, "I'd like you to know who I'm engaged to -- Chopard, the jewelry designer." Cuoco explained the borrowed jewelry fit perfectly on her ring finger.

"Big Bang" was one of the highest-rated shows this month. It airs Thursdays on CBS.
