Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez Strike Out

After a year together, actress Cameron Diaz and baseball star Alex Rodriguez have reportedly ended their romance.

"They broke up recently," a source close to the NY Yankee player confirmed to Us Weekly.

"She's very busy with her career," another source said of the "Bad Teacher" star. "And he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals."

"They're still very friendly and like each other," added the source.

Diaz and A-Rod had been dating since July, 2010 and vacationed together in Miami and Mexico.
