"30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin stopped by "The Late Show" to chat with David Letterman about Hurricane Irene, his girlfriend Hilaria Thomas - and his political aspirations.

"I would like to be the mayor. I don't know if I want to run for mayor," Baldwin admitted. "My life is changing. I'm doing the show for another year. I've got a woman in my life now, my girlfriend who is very important to me. On a spiritual level, I feel like I've known her forever, Dave. Ha."
