Video! David Arquette Supports Malaria Cause

August 30, 2011 Stars Give Back

"Dancing with the Stars" contestant David Arquette recently returned from a trip to Africa to help Malaria No More, a nonprofit campaign determined to end malaria deaths in the continent.

Arquette distributed mosquito nets to families in need, talked with parents who are working to protect their children, and met with village chiefs to learn how they are fighting malaria in their communities. He also learned how to do Senegal's newest dance (think the African version of the "dougie" dance).

And now for his 40th birthday, Arquette is asking fans to help him and Malaria No More give children in Africa the gift of growing up by donating to David Arquette's Birthday Giveback on Crowdrise.com.

From now until his birthday on September 8, Arquette will upload trip photos and videos from his trip and post some of his favorite Senegalese souvenirs on the site for Crowdrise supporters to win throughout the campaign.
