Country singing sensation Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland took to the stage during their New Mexico concert Thursday night and said, "In honor of those people who were wounded and those beautiful lives that were lost we ask you to stand and join us now in a moment of silence."

Thursday marked Sugarland's first concert since the stage collapse at their Indiana concert. It was announced this morning that a sixth person, a 22-year-old coed, has died of injuries sustained in the collapse which also injured more than 45 others.

Earlier in the week, the duo took to their website to express their grief, writing, "There are no words to process a moment of this magnitude and gravity. There are only prayers for peace in the hearts of the bereft, and prayers of thanksgiving for those who were spared or safe. A piece of our heart is left in that grandstand."
