Nick Nixes Reality for Cincinnati
Back from his romantic Hawaiian getaway, a tanned Nick Lachey and singer Sara Bareilles stopped to chat with "Extra's" Renee Bargh about another season of "The Sing-Off" and whether Nick plans to do another reality show based on his new marriage. "Zero. Let me squash that right now. There are zero plans for a reality show," Lachey said.
He and his new wife, Vanessa Minnillo, took part in a televised island wedding, "Nick and Vanessa's Dream Wedding," which aired last Saturday on TLC. The singer said he and Minnillo decided to let the world in on their special day because "ultimately we felt like it was something we were really proud of and excited about, and something we felt comfortable sharing.
Nick added, "The thing that appealed to me about it was that there was a clear beginning and end to it. It's not something that goes on and on."
The happy couple, who recently purchased a house in Nick's hometown of Cincinnati, is excited about starting a family, with Lachey joking, "Well, you know it doesn't really take that much time to start a family. I have room for that in my schedule, I think."
Catch Nick, who is hosting the show, and new judge Bareilles on season 3 of NBC's "The Sing-Off" premiering September 19.
