Emily Explains 'Bachelor' Breakup, Brad Blames Himself

"Bachelor" fans will finally get some closure regarding Emily Maynard and Brad Womack's split. Brad tells People, "The demise of our relationship was completely my fault."

Emily believes that "just because we love each other doesn't mean we're right for each other."

Maynard was teary-eyed after taping an interview with "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison for a special segment scheduled to air July 11. Brad declined to be interviewed.

The 25-year-old single mom decided to come forward in the candid interview in hopes of freeing herself and daughter Ricky from being constantly hounded by paparazzi and from being the subject of tabloid rumors. She expresses the need to "move on and get back to normal."

The new issue of People hits newsstands Friday.
