Lifechangers: Steve Ward Talks about Talking

"Extra" Lifechanger Steve Ward is helping single women change the way they look for love. Ward, the dating coach and master matchmaker on VH1's "Tough Love" sits down with a few single ladies to talk about the dating world.

One woman brought up the topic of text messaging and whether it is an acceptable form of being asked out. Steve replied, "If you can't pick up a phone for ten minutes and have a conversation with me, then you're not worth my time."

The matchmaker had some shocking advice on how to make your dating life more successful. Steve says to be available: "Guys like available women -- they just don't want you to seem desperate."
