Lauren Alaina on Rumor She's Dating Scotty McCreery

"American Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra's" Mario Lopez -- and to set the record straight on rumors she's dating "Idol" winner Scotty McCreery.

"We're not dating, everyone!" laughed Lauren, adding, "We're just friends!"

As for losing to McCreery, Alaina said she saw it coming. "I thought Scotty was going to win. I told him he was going to win." Why? "Um, because all little girls in America are in love with him!"

The singer did admit she was a little starstruck when she saw her favorite "Idol" winner Carrie Underwood, who did a duet with Alaina in the finale. "You know how little girls cry when they see Justin Bieber? I cried when I saw her."

Mario asked what Underwood whispered to Alaina after their duet. Lauren replied, "She said that is was incredible and that we should take it out on the road. Yeah, it was really cool."
