The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to Buckingham Palace in their first big meeting as royal husband and wife. The wives, both known for their fashion sense, showed up looking chic and smart.

Kate Middleton, fresh from her honeymoon in the Seychelles, glowing and tanned, wore a caramel cap-sleeve Reiss bandage dress paired with black heels and necklace. Michelle opted for bright, spring colors in an A-line Barbara Tfank dress with a cropped pink bolero jacket.
