Michael Douglas Gives Health Update on Catherine Zeta-Jones

"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with Michael Douglas at the 11th Annual Monte Cristo Awards, honoring James Earl Jones, where he asked the actor about his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones.

"Catherine's great!" gushed Douglas. "She's down in Louisiana shooting a movie. She's doing good."

Zeta-Jones announced last month that she successfully sought treatment for a bipolar disorder, and then went back to work on the Stephen Frears film "Playing the Field."

Douglas, who battled throat cancer last year, said he's almost ready to go back in front of the camera. "Give me a couple of more months to rest up."
