Ask the 'NCIS' Cast!
The stars of "NCIS" answered some fan questions at The Grove.
#1: How do you all interact with military personnel?
Pauley Perrette, who plays quirky forensic science specialist Abby Scuito, said, "We have so much involvement with the military, and they're welcome on our set. They act as technical advisors."
#2: Would you ever consider doing a show on a submarine?
Michael Weatherly, who plays Special Agent Tony DiNozzo, answered, "I think we did in Season 1... didn't we launch a dead body out of a torpedo?" Rocky Carroll, who plays Director Leon Vance, added, "I did a movie about the USS Alabama." That would be "Crimson Tide," with Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman.
#3: Will you ever have Mario Lopez on the show, and what character would he play?
Mario took this one. "I want to be a dead guy." Brian Dietzen, who plays coroner-in-training Jimmy Palmer, said he gets that question a lot. "How can I be a dead guy? And I was like, 'You have to be naked on a slab for 6 hours straight.'" Carroll said that Mario would probably be put in a uniform. "Then they would kill you," he laughed.
