LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Tie the Knot!

Actor Eddie Cibrian and singer LeAnn Rimes have made it official. The two were wed Friday in their California home.

"LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today surrounded by their closest family and friends," Rimes' spokesman confirmed to People.com. "They thank everyone for their well wishes."

The guests thought they were attending an engagement party, but the couple surprised them with the wedding ceremony. The bride, 28, wore a Reem Acra dress and exchanged personalized vows with Cibrian, 37.

There were about 40 guests, including Cibrian's sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville.

Rimes and Cibrian were engaged in December. The bride tweeted Saturday, "Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed and.... I'm Mrs. Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you."
