'DWTS' Gives the Boot to First Star
"Dancing with the Stars" says goodbye to Mike "Psycho Mike" Catherwood, the first celebrity to be eliminated in Season 12.
Catherwood and partner Lacey Schwimmer improved a bit from the previous week with their Jive, but only scored 17 points. Watch the performance!
In the final minutes, it came down to Catherwood, Sugar Ray Leonard and Wendy Williams, but Catherwood was the one voted off. "It sucks to be sent home first," he said, adding, "It has been nothing but a pleasurable experience."
Special guest performer Chris Brown did his two numbers without any drama. Host Tom Bergeron had told Ryan Seacrest on his Monday KIIS-FM radio show that it would be hard for him not to bring up Brown's recent temper tantrum backstage at "Good Morning America," while pro dancer Cheryl Burke told "Extra" after Monday's performance she had a problem with Brown's appearance as a "victim of domestic violence."
As it turned out, Brown taped his two performances before the show aired and never talked to anyone on the show.
Next week, the remaining dancing duos will compete in Week Three of the "Dancing with the Stars" competition.
