'American Idol' Eliminates the First Finalist
It's now down to the Top 12. Finalist Ashthon Jones was sent home, after making it to the bottom three with contestants Karen Rodriguez and Haley Reinhart.
On Wednesday night's show, Jones sang Diana Ross' "When You Tell Me That You Love Me." Watch the performance!
Although Jones made the top 13 when judges gave her one of their wild cards, this time they chose not to save her.
"Not this time baby, I'm sorry," Judge Jennifer Lopez said. "It was unanimous. You know I was rooting for you and I'm sorry."
The results show also featured performances from Diddy Dirty Money with their hit song "Coming Home" and Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert with an unplugged version of his new single, "Aftermath."
