Tidbits on the New 'True Blood' Season

March 07, 2011 Television

At the "True Blood" 2011 PaleyFest panel, the cast revealed upcoming details on the hit HBO show's fourth season of vampires, werewolves, fairies and more. Oh my!

Star Anna Paquin said her character, Sookie Stackhouse, will have more suitors this season. "We do all kinds of compromising things with all kinds of people and that's everyone in our cast!" the actress laughed. Her co-star and real-life husband, Stephen Moyer, who plays vamp Bill Compton, added, "I'm really excited about watching just to get some tips."

Playing the enigmatic vampire Eric Northman, Alexander Skarsgard explained how his character has had his "memory erased" at the beginning of the season, so now "he's definitely much more vulnerable than you've ever seen him before."

Joe Manganiello said playing a hunky werewolf last season has kept him in the gym. "We set the bar last season a little too high, so a lot of my free time goes into working out."

As for any new characters, creator Alan Ball said, "There's your friendly neighborhood Wiccans. Then there are the neck romancers. We've got all kinds of witches."

All will be revealed when "True Blood" returns to HBO June 12!
