"Extra's" AJ Calloway had some up-close and personal time with the Gaga on Thursday, who was still wearing the latex outfit she wore earlier for her interview on "Good Morning America."

The singer explained, "It's made of condoms. We're here to talk about safe sex."

Gaga is excited about her new MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam lipstick campaign, the proceeds from which will go to MAC AIDS Fund. "I always say I don't want to make money," the singer said. "I want to make a difference... 100% of the money made selling these lipsticks goes to the MAC AIDS Fund and goes to saving lives around the world."

Congratulating her on her three Grammy wins, Calloway asked the singer who came up with the idea to arrive in an egg. "I did. I come up with everything I do. If you guys don't know by now, I'm a lunatic," Gaga laughed.

As for Gaga's acceptance speech, in which she thanked Whitney Houston for inspiring her new single, "Born This Way," she said, "I don't like to talk about my personal relationships with singers and celebrities because they are so private and sacred to me," adding, "But what I will say... female empowerment will change your life. That is why every day I am recognizing my position as a role model -- whether I like it or not -- to young people, and I want to set a great example."
