Camille on Kelsey: 'I'm Ready to Move Forward'
"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer to talk about the recent rumors around her high-profile divorce from actor Kelsey Grammer.
Camille filed papers Thursday to reject Kelsey's request for a quick divorce. He plans to marry his new girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, as soon as possible.
The reality TV star said she isn't trying to antagonize her soon-to-be ex-husband, "No I'm not trying to do that at all." But she does want to protect her rights and make sure their assets are separated fairly, since they did not sign a prenuptial agreement. Says Camille, "I thought we were a good team and we supported each other. We had a good relationship. I'll be fine. It's the emotional part was hard to get through, but I'm ready to move forward. I'm ready for the next chapter in my life."
Camille is also making an effort to be civil with the new woman in her children's lives. "I met Kayte. I thought she was nice, I shook her hand and I even said congratulations and good luck."
As for Camille's two young children with Kelsey, she said, "They have a therapist... and you just want to be as honest as possible. It's a lot for two young children.
