Matt Damon on the Worst Christmas Gifts Ever
"True Grit" star Matt Damon dished with "Extra" about really bad Christmas gift ideas.
The actor starred in a PSA for Water.org in which he displayed some dubious gifts, like a Snuggie and a light-up tie. "Yeah, we're trying to get people to at least get the water bottles," Damon explained to "Extra's" AJ Calloway at the "True Grit" NYC premiere. "We thought that's definitely better than the Snuggie or the nacho plate that plays the mariachi music."
What was Damon's worst gift? "My mother at one point said, 'Instead of giving you the gift, I gave it to someone else,'" the actor laughed. "And I was like 'Why?' She said, 'Because we need to learn how to share with the world!'"
As for the newest addition to the Damon clan, baby Stella, the actor joked she'd have to wait a few years for Christmas gifts. "Nah, I'm not getting her anything. She doesn't know the difference. I'll make it up on her 2nd birthday."
