Oksana: I Taped Mel Because I Thought I Wouldn't Live
Larry King landed the first on-camera interview with Mel Gibson's babymama, Oksana Grigorieva, which aired Wednesday on "Larry King Live" -- and she's opened up about abuse allegations and the recordings of Mel's violent rants.
The Russian singer explained to King why she felt it was necessary to record Mel. "I started taping around 11:00 because I thought, 'I'm actually not going to live through the night'," Grigorieva said. "I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I'm dead, that this is who did it."

Oksana forgave Mel after his rants and admits it was a mistake. "I stayed a little bit too long... I forgave him. I have him the last chance. He asked me for the last chance. He begged. He cried on his knees."
Gibson has had problems with alcohol in the past, but Grigorieva said the actor's drinking was never the reason for his outbursts. "There was no liquor, not once. He never drunk. I mean, one time he drunk when he was away. That's the only time he drunk. I've never ever seen him drinking," she said (sic).
