'DWTS': Brandy and Maks Stand Up to Bullies

November 15, 2010 Dancing With The Stars

Singer Brandy and her "Dancing with the Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy have made it to the final four -- and tonight they're putting special meaning into their Paso Doble routine.

"Our Paso Doble has such a special message," Brandy told "Extra." "It's dedicated to everybody that's been bullied in their life, and Maks and I have both been bullied."

The R&B singer said that she was teased so badly in junior high that she would hide in the teacher's parking lot just so she wouldn't have to confront anybody.

Maks took a moment to address last week's feud with judge Carrie Ann Inaba, saying that everything is "great" now. "I don't have any regrets. I just regret that it's kind of like washing dirty laundry in public."

See the competition heat up on "Dancing with the Stars" Monday at 8:00 PM PST on ABC.
