Hilary Duff Cooks Up 'Elixir'
Newlywed actress Hilary Duff stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra's" Mario Lopez, where she cleared up speculation that she's ready to have a baby, and also talked about her new novel, "Elixir."
Duff and her hockey star husband Mike Comrie tied the knot in August, and she calls married life "the same, and even a little bit better," but says babies are not in the near future. "No rush," she told Mario about having a baby. "I don't know how many we want. He has a huge family and we have four dogs."
Hilary is currently focused on the release of her new novel, "Elixir," about the life of the daughter of a renowned surgeon and a prominent Washington politician.
"I'd been traveling a lot to see Mike, and honestly I was just needing something creative," Duff said about her decision to write a novel. "I had these ideas and started building these characters in my head."
"Elixir" is available in bookstores now.
