Simon Cowell: Justin Bieber Wants to Judge 'X Factor'
Former "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell is gearing up to bring his hit UK show "The X Factor" to the states -- and he told "Extra's" Terri Seymour that he's already had some big stars ask to be a part of it... including Justin Bieber!
"He [Justin Bieber] put himself forward to judge some of the episodes," Cowell said.
Without giving away too much, Simon told Terri that they have plans for a huge A-lister to join the show. "We had a phone call from someone on the weekend, someone very well known who out of the blue wanted to be a judge on the show. Literally out of the blue, and it's one of the most famous singers in the world," he said.
Cowell has already had huge success with UK's "X Factor" and is currently filming the show's seventh season.
"We had the highest figures we'd ever had, and after seven years I thought everyone would get fed up with it, but it is one of those shows people love here."
"X Factor" will debut in the US in September 2011.
