Douglas Finishing Cancer Treatment, Zeta-Jones in Wales
Michael Douglas' wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, told reporters on Wednesday at the Ryder Cup "Welcome to Wales" gala, that her husband is "doing very well."
Jones revealed that her Oscar-winning husband, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer at the beginning of August, has almost completed eight weeks of cancer treatment. "He is about to finish his treatment and the doctors could not be happier," she said.

Douglas didn't attend the event, but urged Catherine to go, a friend told People magazine. "This has been on her calendar for months, and Michael insisted she go. They are both golf lovers. This is important to Catherine and to Wales, so she made it a quick trip to be a part of the important night, and get right home."
Zeta-Jones told the crowd, "Michael will be on Skype screaming for the Americans. He wishes he could be here."
