Charlie Sheen Shows Support for Michael Douglas, Lindsay

September 30, 2010 Celebrity Highlights

"Extra's" Lauren Sanchez snagged a few minutes with "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen at the opening of a Blizz Frozen Yogurt store -- and he talked about his friend and "Wall Street" co-star Michael Douglas' battle with throat cancer.

"He's a tough hombre. If anybody's gonna get through this, it's gonna be him," Sheen said.

Sheen also showed some support for troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan, who is currently in rehab for the sixth time. "She's doing the best she can. It's not easy to begin with, but then you put it under the bright lights of this circus, it makes it all that much more difficult."

He added, "I think people need to leave her alone and let her do her thing. I think at the end of the day she'll win."
