September 24, 2010 Celebrity Highlights

Reality darling Kirstie Alley is happy to report she's lost 50 pounds using her new food line, Organic Liaison. She recently tweeted, "I've lost over 50 lbs... and I'm having the time of my life... 30 more to goooooo!"

Alley showed off a bit of her new, slimmer figure when she posted a seductive twitpic of herself with her Italian "men friends," taken while on a recent trip.

The actress has been battling her weight for many years. In 2006, she lost 75 pounds as the Jenny Craig spokesperson, but slowly gained it back -- ballooning to 230 pounds. The star's latest bulge battle was documented on her A&E reality show, "The Big Life."

In an interview with Ladies Home Journal, she admitted to being in denial about her weight gain. "By 2008, my weight started creeping up and I said, 'Oh, I still look good at 150. I still look good at 155. I still look okay at 165. Some of my clothes still fit at 175,'" adding, "And nobody was saying 'You're fat.' I was like a bank robber who was getting away with it."

"Extra's" Mario Lopez talked with Alley earlier this year about her new food line and her determination to lose the weight for good. She told Mario, "My goal now is to look at myself and go 'This looks great!'"
