'30 Rock's' Alec Baldwin to Host PETA's 30th
"Extra's" AJ Calloway sat down with Alec Baldwin on the set of his hit show "30 Rock" to talk about being an animal rights activist and his work with PETA.
"AJ and I are going to be doing the first dual nude male 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' poster," Baldwin smiled.
Baldwin got involved with PETA through his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, and is set to host PETA's 30th anniversary gala in L.A. on Sept. 25.
"This is one of my favorite stories," says Baldwin. "It's 1991, and I'm lying in bed, sound asleep, and an earthquake starts to happen and my ex-wife bolts up in bed and the first thing that comes out of her mouth, 'Get the dogs!' I knew where I stood. But she's a great dog lover. She had 11 dogs."
As to the rumors Baldwin is quitting "30 Rock," the actor said, "This is our fifth year. We've signed for six years and what happens beyond that, I don't know. It's truly been the best experience I've ever had -- and I really mean that."
