Thyroid Cancer is being now detected more than any other cancer in the U.S., with a 90% cure rate. Endocrinologist Dr. Pejman Cohan told "Extra" it's easily fixed, explaining, "Every cell in the body depends upon thyroid hormones for regulation of their metabolism. It helps us maintain our body weight, body temp. It controls appetite, mood."
