"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli had the chance to chat with "The Town" star Jeremy Renner at the Toronto International Film Festival about his upcoming role in "Mission: Impossible 4."

Renner is set to star opposite Tom Cruise in the action-thriller, but "The Hurt Locker" actor told Penacoli that he's not sure about taking on the movie franchise if Cruise's character, Ethan Hunt, doesn't return.

"I'm so focused on just doing 'Mission: Impossible' ... The one we're doing now and what that is," Renner said. "What that means for the future, I don't know. I love the idea, but they're big shoes to fill for sure."

You can catch Jeremy Renner in "The Town" when it opens in theaters Sept. 17.
