'DWTS': Bristol Palin 'Excited to Step Out of Comfort Zone'

August 31, 2010 Dancing With The Stars

Now that rumors have been put to rest following the Season 11 "Dancing with the Stars" cast announcement, we waltzed around with some of the soon-to-be ballroom dancers.

"Extra's" Terri Seymour first caught up with Bristol Palin, daughter Tea Party favorite Sarah Palin. The teen mom from the tundra told Terri she wasn't nervous. "I'm just excited to step out of my comfort zone and do something like this," she burbled.

When asked if it would be awkward if she weren't partnered with a Republican, Bristol told Terri she wasn't worried about that. "I know who my partner is and he's a great guy... I'm thrilled."

Seymour then asked Audrina Patridge if this could end up being an MTV smackdown between her and "Jersey Shore's" Mike "The Situation." The "Hills" starlet replied, "That's what everyone keeps saying. I guess it could be. I have to see his dancing skills." Rehearsals could cut into his gym, tanning and laundry time.

Let the games begin! Check out all the dancers when they hit the floor September 20 on ABC.
