Synopsis: The series follows an optimistic teacher, Will Schuester (Morrison), who -- against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach named Sue Sylvester (Lynch) -- attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. These stars include Rachel Berry (Michele), Finn Hudson (Monteith). At the end of the first season, the Glee club doesn't win sectionals -- but they are given a reprieve from one more year.
