'Extra' Hearts Barbra Streisand
"Extra" caught up with the legendary Barbra Streisand at a charity event she hosted to benefit Cedars-Sinai Women's Heart Institute.
Streisand said this particular cause is dear to her because she has family and friends who have had heart disease. She expressed the importance of raising heart disease awareness and money for research. The philanthropic singer said, "I'm thinking if everyone sent five dollars to the Cedars Heart Center we could raise so much money."
Read what Streisand had to say about Jennifer Aniston's homage to her in Harper's Bazaar!
She also talked about her upcoming new book, "A Passion for Design," exclaiming, "I got my first copy off the presses! I've been working on it for two years. So it's gonna be fun."
