Mel's Texts: 'I Wasn't Safe for You Last Night'

Text messages revealed today indicate that anger management candidate Mel Gibson may have felt some regret the day after his alleged Jan. 6th fight with Oksana Grigorieva.

RadarOnline obtained the text message, which said, "Oksana, I wasn't safe for you last night. I spent two hours with a therapist today and have regained some perspective. What I'm telling you know is I am safe & would like to come by and make amends to you, Sacha and Lucia. I won't stay, just let you say your peace and I'll say mine."

Oksana replied, "I have two broken front teeth and a concussion. I can not c u today, I'm hurting. U can apologize to Sacha some other time."

It has been reported that Oksana, along with the broken teeth, also suffered a concussion in the alleged attack.

Her phone containing the text message was handed over to authorities and is now key evidence in the domestic violence investigation against Gibson.
