Heidi and Spencer Separate

"The Hills" star Heidi Montag has separated from husband Spencer Pratt, TMZ reports.

Montag's rep tells TMZ, "Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She's tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career."

The marriage has been fraught with turmoil. Only a few weeks ago, Speidi called the police on Montag's mom because she wouldn't leave their house.

No word yet if they are planning to divorce.

Montag, who is now more known for her complete plastic surgery makeover than her reality TV career, recently posted an audition video, showing her as a worthy Megan Fox's replacement in "Transformers 3."
