'The View' Good for Barbara Walters after Surgery

It's good news for Barbara Walters, as her doctors report that the 80-year-old grand dame of TV journalism came through her heart valve replacement surgery with flying colors.

"Her surgery went well and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome," said a rep for the interview queen.

Recovery from the operation is expected to take one to three months, which Walters timed with her summer hiatus. "Since the summer is coming up, I can take a nice vacation."
