Patrick Dempsey: 'We'll Miss Katherine'

According to "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey, no one can take Katherine Heigl's place on the popular show.

"Extra" caught up with the TV doc at the Long Beach Toyota Grand Prix on Saturday, where as one of the celebrity drivers, he went from McDreamy to McSpeedy at 150 miles per hour!

"She's a talented, fine actress. I don't think there's any way you can replace her or any of the other members of the cast," Dempsey told "Extra's" Terri Seymour. "We'll miss her."

Heigl recently left the show to concentrate on her movie career and being a mother to her 16-month-old daughter.

But she was at the racetrack to cheer her friend on... sort of. Via "Extra's" webcam, she told Dempsey, "Patty, I miss you. I saw you racing your cars, you look great. Wish I could see you more, buddy!"
