Former 'Idol' Contestant Cited for Driving 110mph

Season six finalist Sanjaya Malakar and his famous ponyhawked hair were pulled over at 2:30 AM Tuesday for traveling at a speed of 110mph on a freeway just outside of Seattle.

The onetime "American Idol" teen heartthrob was going 50mph over the legal speed limit. State troopers say Sanjaya will not face reckless driving charges (as no one else was around), but the 20-year-old was slapped with a fat $411 ticket.

At least he's finally getting somewhere fast.
