Brittany Murphy's Husband Holding Event for Foundation

The late Brittany Murphy's widower, Simon Monjack, is hosting an event to mark the launch of the Brittany Murphy Foundation.

It will take place this Thursday, February 4 in Beverly Hills, with tickets going for $1,000 a person, reports Us Weekly.

The Brittany Murphy Foundation supports arts education for children and others.
