Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron, 22, won the title of Miss America 2010 on Saturday evening at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, hosted by "Extra's" own Mario Lopez.

The Virginia beauty was able to outshine 52 other contestants with her savvy interview skills and by belting out Beyonce's "Listen" from "Dreamgirls."

"I hope to gain inspiration, I hope to gain momentum so that when this 365 days is over, I can shoot through the moon," Cameron told The Associated Press.

The Miss America crown was not the only thing Cameron walked away with, she was also given a $50,000 scholarship.

Cameron, a Broadcast Journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University, plans on getting her Masters degree and would like to become a news anchor.

Host Mario Lopez was assisted by Clinton Kelly of TLC's "What Not to Wear." This was the 89th Miss America pageant.
