White House Party Crashers Plead the Fifth... and Continue to Party
Michaele and Tareq Salahi appeared before the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, but refused to talk about crashing President Obama's State dinner by pleading the fifth.
Mr. Salahi told members of Congress the couple's legal counsel advised them not to answer any questions.
Over the weekend, the Salahis were not only invited to party, they hosted a bash at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas. They say they weren't paid for the event, and urged people to donate to earthquake victims in Haiti.
