Haitian-born rapper Wyclef Jean took to YouTube Saturday to defend his charity from growing concern about possible mismanagement of funds.

The Fugees frontman, who has been in Haiti for several days, said he could not understand why he and his Yele Haiti foundation are targets, saying his integrity has been attacked. The 37-year-old Grammy-winner has already raised over $2 million, mostly through a text campaign.

Jean denounced the claims, saying "would never" take money from that charity and was "disgusted" by the allegations.
