It's a new year, and Kate Gosselin is a brand new woman!

The freshly-divorced "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star appears on the cover of People magazine with long blonde extensions -- and says she has a new name, "Kate Clean Slate."

Her signature spikey 'do is long gone, but it took 20 hours with celeb stylist Ted Gibson to achieve this layered look!
