David Hasselhoff was never under a psychiatric hold and did not suffer a seizure, his lawyer tells "Extra."

The former "Baywatch" actor, "was never on a 5150 psychiatric hold in the hospital [and] he did not have a seizure as reported," the attorney says in a statement.

On Friday, RadarOnline.com reported Hasselhoff -- who has battled alcoholism for years -- was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center involuntarily.

But his lawyer tells Extra, "He is currently at his home recording studio with his daughters recording a song with them for his new CD."

Hasselhoff's ex wife, Pamela Bach, was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles Saturday night, according to police reports. She was released early Sunday morning after posting $15,000 bail.

"I am remorseful and mortified. I am going through a really difficult time between David being in the hospital and dealing with the divorce," she told TMZ.com Sunday while en route to an AA meeting.
