Kelly Preston: Co-Starring With Family Is 'Perfect'

Ella Bleu Travolta has officially entered the family business.

Ella, 9, stars alongside parents John Travolta and Kelly Preston in "Old Dogs," a family comedy.

"This just was the perfect thing to do together," Preston, 47, tells "Extra" of the project. "Especially for Ella -- Ella's first movie."

The actress admits that at first she had trouble separating family life from work because she wanted to make sure her daughter was "protected," but that the experience ended up being "brilliant."

"Old Dogs" opens in theatres November 25.
