Girlfriend: Mel Gibson Is 'Hands-On' With New Baby
Mel Gibson is "ecstatic," about newborn daughter Lucia Anne, his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva tells Britain's Hello! magazine.
"He is very much in love with her already," Grigorieva, 39, tells the magazine of the little girl, who was born on Oct. 30. "She just wins people's hearts, she's so beautiful and tiny."
Grigorieva reveals that Lucia Anne, named after her and Gibson's grandmothers, was born a month early -- forcing Gibson, 53, to fly to Los Angeles from his New York City movie set.
Gibson -- who split from his wife of 28 years, Robyn, in April -- has been on diaper duty ever since Lucia's birth, Grigorieva says.

"He's very hands-on," Grigorieva says. "He has been very doting and nurturing."
Grigorieva -- a Russian singer who met Gibson on the set of his 2008 flick "Edge of Reason" -- says she's teaching Lucia her native language.
"I'm speaking Russian and English and singing lullabies in both," she says. "She has been an inspiration already. I'm composing a children's song book."
