See 'SNL's' 'Twilight' Parody

November 08, 2009 Twilight

Taylor Swift has fallen hard for outcast Phillip Frank.

The country singer, 19, spoofed "Twilight" during her stint on "Saturday Night Live" last night, where she stars as a heroine who falls for Frankenstein Phillip Frank.

In "Firelight," Swift's character (based on Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan) is intrigued by Bill Hader's Phillip Frank (based on Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen). The unlikely duo falls in love, despite Phillip's urges to choke Taylor and his aversion to fire light.

Swift also poked fun at the criticism Kristen Stewart has gotten for biting her lip while acting -- Taylor chewed on her lips throughout the entire short.

Before performing live in New York City last night, Taylor wrote on her Twitter, "SNL is about to happen. Wow. I'm excited. And happy. And nervous. And excited." Swift's appearance on the comedy show marked her first visit as the host, and second as the musical guest.

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" opens in theatres November 20.
